Welcome to my site ! My goal is to help you get healthy and stay healthy so that you can lead a happy, productive life that serves you and those that you share life with.

I went for my first acupuncture treatment in 1993 whilst living in Holyoke, Mass. I had just finished my degree at the Univ. of Mass. and was confused about what to do next with my life. I had experienced depression on and off for years and was seeing a therapist at the time with little success. After my first treatment, a lightbulb went off in my head and I knew I didn’t need therapy anymore. I knew I didn’t need to spend any more time explaining the present by analyzing the past. The insight that I had which has stayed with me to this day has been “ what do I need to do today to head in the direction I wish to move in ?”

At that point I knew I had to go to acupuncture school. It was a natural fit as I have been a listener for people since my early teens. I  also have a degree in philosophy from U. Mass. Amherst, had worked in health food stores for close to 10 years and my father had attended seminary. So, from my upbringing and my quest to heal myself for many years, being in the alternative health field is the path I have chosen.
